Life Lately

Life Lately

I thought I would get personal with you guys and talk about what has been happening in my life lately. Things have been really busy and challenging for me lately.

I’ve just been on an emotional roller-coaster lately with so much happening at work and getting my blog out there finding the time is just challenging. No one said it was going to be tough but lately I have been feeling like I haven’t been posting as much as I should be. Time managing has never been my strongest traits but I feel that getting my head in the right place and getting myself motivated is important.

With it being August already time has really gonna work by, the end of the year is approaching and there are just so much things I have to do before even thinking of going in holiday. July has been a tough month for me,with it being the anniversary of my grans death I just have been absorbed with heart broke… Who ever said time will heal a broken heart, I really don’t feel that… With time passing I just miss her more and more and it makes me sad knowing all the things she will be missing out on.
Other then emotional strain life has been okay,I have been contemplating on doing a course part time but I am not too sure that’s going to be the best of decisions on my side with a full time job and a blog can I really handle that much pressure. I do love learning new things and always love adding skills to my list.

Recently I have always been featured in a local newspaper,I would’ve never have guessed that I would be featured any anything and I am really thankful for it.i just want to reach as many women as I can to share my lives with others and build my community and a safe place for everyone to share in my little space of the internet.

What have you guys been up to lately? Are there any topics you perhaps want me to feature?
  • Janneke

I always like motivating people to take courses just because I feel that noone can ever take that skill away from you. I’m so sorry to hear about your gran! I truly hope that eventually time would heal your broken heart and instead fill you with happiness due to the loving and fun memories that you guys have had together. I’m not saying you will stop missing her because I agree I don’t think that happens, but that you will celebrate the time you had together. I hope this is coming across like I mean it and doesn’t sound wrong!

    • I agree, she wouldn’t want me mopping around rather to remember the amazing woman she was!

  • Pam Scalfi

you shouldnt feel pressured to post more often. Remember, quality over quantity 😉 if you wanna do a course, you should! Priorities must be made and you can always try to work around a schedule! 🙂 good luck!

  • Hi lovely 🙂
You should be less hard on yourself, don’t feel too pressured to blog too much, you want to do it in a stress free way to avoid burnout. I did that and began to hate my old blog.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Gran, I understand your feelings about the loss, it never gets better! This year was also the first anni of my grans passing and in December my whole family is getting together so we can scatter her ashes. Its tough but I like to imagine my gran being happy for my happiness and that makes it easier.

Awesome news about the Newspaper, Congrats xx

    • I get what you mean Tyler, I think I am pushing myself too hard just want to be proud of my blog ☺

  • Hope you are doing okay and don’t put too much pressure on yourself 🙂

    Pams Stuff and Things

    • Thank you Pam, I actually feel a whole lot better after you guys have been leaving me stuff lovely comments! ☺

  • Don’t push yourself too hard. I was getting quite unhappy last year with blogging and the pressure of posting 3 times a week, on specific days, while also working and having to enjoy my husband and my life. So this year I cut it down to just once or twice a week and more importantly, I blog when I can and feel excited to do so. And I’m much happier and actually think my posts have improved too. So remember it’s a hobby and do it when you enjoy doing it, rather than because you feel you have to. x

    • I totally get that Renata, I refuse to do anything blog related on weekends I just need that time to actually have a life.. Which can be hard sometimes when you trying to push stats but you are right it is just a hobby

  • Isabelle Geeraerts

Sweetie, take it easy. Your readers won’t go away when you post a little less. You’re doing a great job, you deserve to be featured! Don’t let the emotions take over. Be strong and know your limits.
