{Review} Physicians Formula Argan Wear BB Cream

Physicians Formula Argan Wear BB Cream_01

The lovely people at Freebees Marketing sent me some of Physicians Formula products a few weeks back – I have sadly never before used any Physicians Formula products before this, not that I didn’t want to but its just hard to know whether it’s really worth spending the money on especially when it’s a brand you have never used before. Today I share my thoughts on the Physicians Formula Argan Wear BB Cream.

As mentioned Physicians Formula is a new brand to me, I have however heard so may great things about them especially their bronzers. The Argan Wear BB Cream is one of their products in their Argan Wear range , the packaging is really unique not like anything I’ve seen on the market before. This BB Cream is described as having a luxurious and high performance formula that will even out your skin tone, vanishing flaws and imperfections and smoothing skin texture without leaving your skin greasy – this bb cream does contain an SPF of 30 and is infused with 100% pure argan oil.

I found the formula to be rather thick , you are suggested to first shake the bb cream before squeezing out some product – because you will definitely have organ oil running out of the tube ( that’s what I did the very first time I used this without reading the instructions) I found this so easy to blend it’s best used with a beauty blender, or beauty sponge or even fingers. I found then rubbing in the product with my hands actually worked really well. The coverage is amazing unlike a lot of other bb creams this is definitely more like a foundation in that aspect. I am rather bummed out with the poor colour selection – there are only two shades to choose from light and light/medium although when squeezing out the product the light/medium shade looked really dark, once the product dries down on your face it did make me look a little pale during the day, it could also be because it adapted to my pale ass skin during winter and for some strange reason my face is the lightest part of my body so my very tanned neck sticks out like a sore thumb so I end up applying some product on my neck to.

The easy to squeeze tube is fantastic I have never had the issue of squeezing out too much product. The fact that this Physicians Formula argan wear bb cream consists of argan oil , this is perfect for anyone who suffers from dry skin or  combination skin I find this to blend like a dream , it has been ticking off all the boxes for a great bb cream. These do retail for R229.95 at all Dischem stores, in my opinion that is rather pricey for a pharmacy brand, you are getting very good quality though which is something to consider – I just really wish they had a bigger shade collection.

*Disclosure : This was sent to me in a press drop but all opinions are honest and my own.
