{Review} Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

The Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation has got to be one of the most hyped about foundations I’ve come across all across south african beauty blogs, it has taken me months to actually take the plunge and actually purchase it – not sure why it has taken me this long but hooray I finally did.

I’ve seen so many reviews on the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation where bloggers are featuring it in their favourites and praising how well it works for the affordable price it comes at. I have been struggling when it comes to finding a good foundation – firstly, the correct shade is always an issue either foundation is too light or dark which leaves me agitated a lot of the time and why I hate purchasing foundations.

My skin is also very fussy, I have been dealing with these fine bumps on my checks which makes any foundation application looks horrible! I have been using a face mask to hopefully sort that out. The Match Perfection Foundation comes in a variety of different shades 12 shades to be exact making it easier to find a shade that suits your skin tone, the shade that best suited me was True Nude it matches really well with my neck.

Rimmel claims this foundation to be;

Invisible, mistake-proof foundation for visibly perfected & healthier looking skin.
Weightless, smooth texture blends with skins real tone instead of masking it.
24HR moisture complex leaves skin feeling hydrated.
Soft-focus powers help reduce imperfections, pores & dark circles.

Do I agree with any of these claims? Damn right I do! I have been using it for only a few days now since purchasing it on Takealot for R169. I personally think that’s an amazing price for the quality you are getting, I am proudly say I found my new favourite foundation – it’s light weight, it doesn’t even feel that I am wearing foundation. It covers up dark spots and pigmentation really well, it feels hydrating on the skin and also gives skin this lovely glow and lasts all day. I actually regret for not purchasing the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation sooner , if you are looking for a good foundation that delivers and gives good coverage this is definitely worth purchasing.

  • My skin is very fussy too and I get little bumps on my forehead and cheeks sometimes which are very annoying! I’ve never tried this foundation but think I need to try it out as sounds great!

  • I always struggle with finding good drugstore foundations, so I usually stick to more high-end brands. I often find they’re too strongly fragranced, break me out or have such a poor shade range that I can’t find a decent colour for my skin. Match Perfection is one of a few I do love, though!
