LA Girl Cosmetics Strobe Lite Strobing Powder

LA Girl Cosmetics are definitely one of my all time favourite pharmacy brands – they almost always deliver on quality! Theres quite a few of their products I have been obsessed with namely their matte lipsticks , concealers and bb creams. When I think of LA Girl Cosmetics I think of amazing , affordable products. I purchased one of their brand new LA Girl Cosmetics Strobe Lite Strobing Powder a few weeks ago.

LA Girl Cosmetics recently launched quite a few number of new products the two that I had to get my hands on are their LA Girl Pro HD Illuminating Foundations are one of their strobe lite strobing powders. I will be sharing my thoughts on their new foundation on a separate post today I wanted to focus on the LA Girl Strobe Lite Strobing Powder. The shade I picked up is called 50 Watt – LA Girl Cosmetics did release 12 shades in their strobe lite range.

We all know what contouring is , it’s taken the world by storm but what is strobing? In basic terms, to ‘strobe’ your skin is to accentuate the areas of the face where light would naturally hit, such as the top of your cheek bones, the brow bones and cupid’s bow.

“Strobe Lite Strobing Powder highlights your facial features by creating more depth and dimension where light usually hits. The soft and silky powder adds a fresh glow to highlight cheeks, brighten eyes, sculpt nose, and enhance pout. Strobe Lite can be applied alone or over makeup for a perfect glowing complexion. Powder is paraben and fragrance free and available in 12 shades.”

50 Watt is gorgeous, I found the shade not too be over powering it all – it has a gold shimmer which I find to be complimenting to my skin tone. The strobing powder from LA Girl is not powdery at all it glides on really nicely with your fingers or your makeup brush.  So whether you just want to add some glow to your cheekbones and high areas of your face or to create a shimmery eyelid these are definitely a great option.

Yes, the packaging does look cheap , but honestly I would prefer a plastic packaging because the product is amazing quality and personally I really like the black and gold colour scheme that LA Girl Cosmetics was going for. The LA Girl Cosmetics Strobe Lite Strobing Powder retails for R149.99 each at all Dischem stores nationwide. I am really looking forward to adding more shades to my collection, these really are worth it in my opinion.
