{Review} Sinful Colours Nail Polishes

Sinful Colours is a brand I’ve never tried myself, I have always been an avid Essence Cosmetics nail polish lover and never really dabbled into other nail polish brands. I came across Sinful Colours Nail Polishes on Takealot, I saw that they were actually new and of course the compulsive shopper I am – I ended up ordering 4 shades, for now, to try out and see if I do like them.

I am not the kind of girl who spends much time caring for my nails, I usually just pop on some nail polish once a week and that’s usually it. No fancy nail art, I honestly don’t have time and my nails are so brittle it’s useless going through all that effort. As mentioned I purchased 4 different Sinful Colors nail polishes, one is a top coat, the other 3 shade names are – Tan Lines ( mauve shade), Island Coral ( as it names states, it’s a coral) and Diamond In The Raw ( this is a silver ).

All three shades are so pretty and they match well with my skin tone, I found the applicator brush to be rather narrow, I kinda really like it – it’s easy to get to the corners of your nail and two coats is all you need to get that opaque colour. The color looks in well especially after using the Sinful Colours Top Coat, regarding the longevity of these nail polishes – I would say they are long wearing, it has lasted me about 5 days before any chipping. The longevity is really impressive because I am lazy as hell I really do need a nail polish formula that lasts and this does just that.

The price of the Sinful Colours nail polishes are also impressive, they price quite similar to Essence nail polish I paid R28 each! Now that’s a great bargain if you ask me. I am definitely purchasing more shades from Takealot, I would recommend these if you are looking for good quality nail polishes on a budget.
