The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream _01

I have never been the type of person to actually invest nor use eye creams before. Up until recently, eye creams did not exist in my skincare regime, which I am baffled just thinking about it. The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream is the first eye cream I have ever bought for myself. I have used other products in the Vitamin E range so I know how good this range is, today’s post will be a review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. This formula hydrates smoothes and protects the delicate skin around the eye. Use as part of your personalised skincare programme.

Or so The Body Shop claims, I was motivated to put these claims to the test and find out if this eye cream is worth purchasing. I am no newbie to The Body Shop Vitamin E range which I have mentioned before. I have tried their Vitamin E Overnight Serum and their day and night creams. Usually, I purchase the little sample sizes that The Body Shop sells, but this time I purchase their full-size eye cream – which does come in a tube.

I have been suffering from a dry under eye area since the weather has been transitioning into Summer my skin has been crazier than usual. I have been using the Vitamin E Eye Cream from The Body Shop for the last 2 months now and have noticed that the dried area under my eyes has become smoother and hydrated. There is no dry skin coming off my under eye area, which has been a relief – dry under eyes are not attractive and they can get really itchy.

The Body Shop recommends that you apply a small amount to a fingertip and gently pat around the orbital bone area. Avoid pulling the skin around the eye area. Use daily – in the morning and evening.

TBS tip: Use ring finger to apply. Gentle pressing massage helps to reduce the appearance of puffiness

This eye cream is definitely worth investing in, if you are in South Africa you can take advantage of The Body Shop’s 3 for 2 promo that is they are currently running. I will definitely be getting another as back up and also to try other products in the Vitamin E range.
