Current Skin Care Rotation

Current Skin Care Rotation -1

At the end of 2017, I accumulated quite a number of skincare products. I have always been the type of person that made a minimal effort to taking care of my skin. This year I do want to focus and invest more into my skincare products. Today’s post will be my Current Skin Care Rotation, these are products I am currently using.

Current Skin Care Rotation -3
Cleanse

Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay – For cleansing products, I have been making use of Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay. This product is ideal for busy lady on the go, it can be used to wash, scrub and can be used as a face mask. I have been using this more often then I thought – it feels refreshing and I can use one product to cleanse my face basically.

Eucerin Dermato Clean Mild Cleansing Milk – I have been wanting to try Eucerin skin care products for quite some time and I finally got to purchase some products from the brand. The Dermato Clean Mild Cleansing Milk is amazing for when my skin is a lot drier, it cleanses my face with ease and makes my skin really soft.

Eucerin Dermato Clean Clarifying Toner – I have always avoided cleanses, but the last half of 2017 I have really been loving them. One, in particular, is the Eucerin Dermato Clarifying Toner. It’s great for all skin types and it removes excess makeup and dirt my face scrub usually misses. It also doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight and uncomfortable.

Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water – Talking about toners. The Garnier Cleansing Water has been my favourite ever since they released in South Africa. I always used the pink capped Micellar Water from Garnier, but this time I opted for the yellow cap. It’s infused with oil which makes removing makeup even easier and it leaves my skin feeling better than the pink capped Micellar Water. I am obsessed and will be stocking up on these.

Moisturise

Sorbet Salon Skin Night Recovery Cream – The Sorbet Salon Skin Night Recovery Cream is the latest skincare product I purchased. I just finished a night cream and was in need of one. I have only been using it for about a week now but it has already made my skin feel a lot more nourished and soft.

Lamelle Correctives Hydrating Serum – This stuff is amazing. It has this lovely scent and a little goes a long way. Ever since I have been using this serum I have noticed a big difference in my skin. I will be sharing an in-depth review of the Lamelle Correctives Hydrating Serum on the blog soon.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream – No skincare routine can be complete without The Body Shop! Their products are amazing, one of my favourite ranges is the Vitamin E range – for dry skin this range is a Godsend. I suffer from really dark circles under my eyes I have mentioned my struggles so many times. This product seems to be helping with lighting them a bit, which is better than nothing. I have still yet to find a product that can dramatically get rid of them. Which might probably be me asking for too much.

Avene Thermal Spring Water – This is the only Avene product I currently own. The Avene Thermal Spring Water is amazing. If you are a South Africa Beauty Blogger then you know that this product is all the hype at the moment. I can see why especially on hot days it feels amazing on my skin. I usually spritz a few pumps of product at night before I head to bed, it cools down my skin and helps with irritations, especially from the heat.

So there you have it guys, these are my Current Skin Care Rotation products. What skincare products are you really enjoying at the moment?

The Garnier wash is also one of my favourite washes! I have also been using the pink miceller water for years and was so curious about the oil-infused one! Definitely going to put it on my shopping list!

    • I found that the oil-infused Micellar Water removes makeup easier then the pink one.

Great post. The garnier oil cleansing water, does it leave your face oily? That’s my only concern about buying it? I have combination skin of dry and oily so not sure if it’ll work?

    Love Hannah xox

Can I just ask….using all these products, does it leave you flawless, blotch-less skin? I notice that when people see others use a lot of skin products in the skin care routine, people dismiss that as putting too much on their face. However, for me, it’s those that put a lot of skin care on their face, their skin is clear and healthy-looking. So I’m just curious. Also, Garnier Micellar Water is my holy grail. It’s the best cleansing product for my skin, in my opinion.

    • I know what you mean. I was one of that people who only used a face fash and moisturiser. I find that my skin needed more hydration. Serums and face masks are amazing. My skin feels a lot cleaner and also I’ve notice less redness and break outs. I think it’s a personal choice, I guess you have to see what works for you.

I have tried from your routine only the Garnier face wash and I do remember I loved it x
