The Body Shop Drops Of Light Brightening Serum _01

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Brightening Serum has been part of my daily skincare regime for about a few weeks now. I think I have tested it for long enough now to be able to share my honest opinion about this serum with you guys.

I am probably one of the last people to talk about or test out this product, my skin has been looking extremely dull lately and I needed something to brighten and add some life to my face.

“The Body Shop Drops Of Light Brightening Serum is a  very lightweight serum that absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it velvety soft and shine free. Clinically proven to reduce the number and intensity of dark spots.”

  • Clinically proven to reduce the number and intensity of dark spots
  • Lightweight texture, that quickly absorbs into the skin
  • Leaves skin plumped with moisture
  • Instantly skin looks brighter and more luminous
  • With regular use, skin appears smoother, more healthy and translucent, with an even tone.
  • Perfect for day and night

Do I agree with all of these points made by The Body Shop? To be honest I do!! The serum not only has this amazing scent which is hard to ignore when you first open up and product, it does leave my skin looking and feeling plump – I use this in the morning and at night and have noticed that my skin has some life to it. The product is really lightweight, I hardly feel it and used with a day or night cream depending on when you use it my skin doesn’t flake nor dries out.

The dropper is easy to use and I find that it doesn’t leak any product, this is a major plus for me as I find that droppers can be really tough to use.

How To Use: Apply 2 to 3 drops onto the face and neck and gently massage into skin every morning and evening before applying a cream.

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Brightening Serum retails for R275 for 30ml, it’s definitely money worth spending – I am looking forward to trying other products in the Drops Of Light range.

What are your thoughts on this serum? What other products in the Drops Of Light range do you guys recommend I try next?
