A few months ago Catrice Cosmetics was kind enough to send me some of their products on their latest limited edition Pulse Of Purism Collection. One of these products was the gorgeously gold packaged Pure Metal Palette. I was given the palette Metal,Myself and I.
These Catrice Pure Metal Palettes comes in two shades; the Metal,Myself and I and By All Means MetalEyes Palettes.
The two palettes each contain three baked, powdery eyeshadows with a metallic effect. Champagne, silvery blue and copper on the one hand and white, taupe and bronze on the other reflect the light like liquid metal. The silky, smooth eyeshadow texture glides onto the lids effortlessly and can be applied moist or dry.
Beauty Tip : For the moist application of powder textures, either dip the brush or applicator in water or wet it with a little fixing spray. This lets the brush or applicator “pick up” the product more easily, and the colours will shine with an especially intense finish.
How can you not fall in love with the packaging of this palette? The shadows are surprisingly creamy and easy to blend. These metallic eyeshadows do not skimp on pigmentation either, they are gorgeous to pop on the eyelids. The colours are intense which is why I have been enjoying these so much, with the help of a wet eye brush. These Catrice Pulse Of Purism Pure Metal Palette retails for R94.95, the trio of beautifully matched baked eyeshadow in each compact is a really great price for quality, silky eyeshadows.
I have done a post mentioning other makeup products you can pick up in the Catrice Pure Of Purism range – which you can read here, and yes they are all as beautifully gold packaged as these palettes are. I would highly recommend that you guys check out this collection if they are still stocked in store, I know that you can find the displays at Dischem stores.
