{Review} Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter

Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter_01

I have had the Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter in my makeup collection for a few months now and I have only started using it. I am one of those people who prefers to use up a product before moving on to the next.

Makeup Revolution can only be bought in the UK sadly… I got my hands on it by purchasing on their online store and using my Aramex global shopper account which means my shipping costs aren’t much as it would be if I choose the normal online shopping and you can also by in so many other places in the world.

I picked up the baked highlighter in peach lights, I’ve always wanted a highlighter with peachy tones. The pan is quite big which means I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this highlighter. The formula is very pigmented, I actually find that my brush doesn’t pick up as much product as I like so I tend to apply them with my finger (odd I know) but is it seems to be doing the job really well! I only use a tiny bit which is more than enough. It the light the colour reflects gorgeously! I can really see the peachy tones pulling through. For only £4 this is such a bargain, I honestly wish we had Makeup Revolution over here in South Africa, the eyeshadow palettes and this highlighter I have used are seriously pigmented and the quality is on par with some high end brands.

For the price this is a good option, just don’t expect to find a product that works like The Balm or Benefit highlighter, because the staying power isn’t that amazing it barely lasts for the entire day, although a good primer should fix that.

However I am extremely happy with this baked highlighter, and have been using it every day for the past few weeks with no breakout or skin irritation.
