Revlon Colorstay Foundation

Revlon Colorstay -1

Awhile back Revlon South Africa sent me two foundation shades as part of their #SLAYWITHCOLORSTAYSA campaign. Today I will be sharing my thoughts on the Revlon Colorstay Foundation.

I’ve heard so many amazing things about Revlon’s Colorstay Foundation and so many other ladies have been recommending it. I was so thrilled when Revlon sent other their Colostay Foundation.

The Revlon Colostay Foundation wears for up to 24 hours and features SPF protection and a mess-free pump applicator. Lightweight for breathable comfort, it’s specifically designed for normal to dry skin.

Most foundations are designed for oily skin ladies, so I really appreciate the fact that Revlon designed a foundation that’s suited for my normal to dry skin. I love the fact that this foundation comes with a pump, I am a clutz and break everything so I can be sure that I won’t end up with foundation everywhere.

The formula is quite thick allowing for a more fuller coverage. It also super creamy and blends really well.. The only thing that makes me sad is that I can’t use this foundation on its own, well at least during Summer when my skin has more of a tan.

The shade I was sent is about 2 shades too light for me. I am usually a medium beige in other foundations, sadly this one is bit lighter. Other than that this foundation wears really well. Paired with a good makeup mist my foundation can last a good few hours, I don’t think it lasts 24 hours as my foundation started cracking around my nose area like many others I use. I have major sinus so I am always wiping my nose which definitely could be the reason why it starting cracking in that area. If you don’t wipe your nose as much as I do you won’t have that problem. Compared to most it lasted a good amount of time, all day while at work.

Have you used the Revlon Colorstay Foundation before? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below, do you think its worth the hype?
